Before we founded the Debt Solutions Law Center, our attorneys previously charged clients around $1,500 for a basic Chapter 7 bankruptcy case. This did not include adversary litigation or other complex issues. This was just for a simple bankruptcy.
What we discovered is that for some folks, this just wasn't feasible. However, for the attorneys, bankruptcy law is more complicated than ever. The 2005 amendments to the Bankruptcy Code changed the practice, and drove many attorneys out this area of law. It was just too complicated, and yet the clients could not afford the necessary services.
These considerations are what drove us to found the Debt Solutions Law Center. Our first priority is informing the client. We fully believe in educating clients so that each client can make an intelligent informed decision about their particular situation. Our next priority is delivering the highest quality legal services to that client in their price range. After years of combined experience, hours of meeting with other attorneys, and serious consideration to what families can afford and what is fair to the attorney, we have come up with the following price schedule for our Chapter 7 bankruptcy services:
This may be all you need. If you need to stop garnishments, keep your exempt property, and get a fresh start, the initial $899 price may be for you.
Additional legal issues will cost $100.00 per an issue. Other legal issues can include affirming debts (such as payments on a new car or house), adding a spouse to your petition, negotiating with the Trustee over alleged transfers, or pre-petition planning prior to filing.
You may not know how many legal issues are involved in your particular situation, which is why we offer free 30 minute consultations.
